Microchip Pet Identification

A.P.A.W offers and strongly encourages the Home Again Microchipping System for your pet’s Microchip Pet Identification.

Identification tags and collars are a great way to prevent a pet from being lost; however, they can fall off. Microchipping is a permanent way to identify your lost pet. No bigger than a grain of rice, we can microchip your pet with one simple injection.

Home Again Microchip includes Lifetime Recovery Service, 1 year of Lost Pet Insurance, 1-year Poison Control Hotline, and a Pet Identification Card.

Bringing a home a new puppy or kitten? Our Puppy/Kitten Package includes a 20% off a Home Again Microchip.

To learn more about microchipping, please ask a team member at your next appointment.

Training and Behavioral Counseling

Our certified technicians provide consultations and programs tailored specifically for the temperament or behavior of your pet, or general training to suit the demands of your home.

We encourage the use of positive and motivational reinforcement to maintain a happy and sustainable relationship with your pet.

International Pet Health Certificates

If you are taking your pet to another country – permanently or for a visit, a USDA endorsed international health certificate and other related documents are required.

Our dedicated and knowledgeable veterinarians, Dr. Johnson and Dr. Cornett, are APHIS (Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service) accredited veterinarians and would be happy to aid you in this process. They will certify your pet’s health status, conduct the necessary tests, and record the results.

If you anticipate traveling to another country, contact that country’s consulate or embassy for information about any requirements that you must meet.

Schedule an appointment with us as soon as possible. When making the appointment, please be sure to let our staff know which country you will be travelling to and the dates of travel so we can best assist in the process. Please note that it is important to build in adequate leadtime as it can take up to 30 days or more to complete the process.
